| We should stick with the topic at hand which is the new Zelda game Spirit Tracks. I think that Nintendo is trying to make this franchise more modern everytime. First it was just the olden times with dragons and wizards, and then it's slowly moving up to now there are ships and trains. I just hope that Nintendo won't make the Zelda games during our time that would be the worst Zelda games if that ever happened. | |

| In response to Piano Man's post, a more modern, Victorian-era Zelda could work (like, Chise, I'm thinking steampunk--see FF6). I think futuristic would be a bad idea, but there's nothing wrong with entertaining some alternative ideas. Spirit Tracks moves in that direction for sure.
Mind you, I like the medieval stuff too, but steampunk can wrap itself around any environment. And just because they experiment a little doesn't mean all Zelda games have to be less medieval.
I like the concept behind Spirit Tracks, and I look forward to playing it. n_n | |

Plus it's not like we haven't seen more modern things appear in Zelda games- Even OoT had it's share of some pretty advanced stuff. I'm thinking spicifily of that little lab next to the lake. | |

| To be honest, when I saw Link riding a train, I got worried. In all the LOZ games I played. Link was never bind in one direction and a train basically only go in one direction. (besides the track switching and detours) But later on, I heard that you can put in your own tracks, so I am looking forward to having this game in my vast library of video games. | |
